April Presidential Ponderings
Hello Dancers,
Did the rain and flood waters keep you from coming to the April dance? If so, you missed a real good time. Our new location at St. Brigid is a great place to dance with a large wooden floor, high ceilings and ample seating. There were over 70 dancers that attended in April and a great Cha-Cha lesson was taught by Terri Herrick. Thank you, Terri.
Our next dance is May 10th. With any luck the sun will shine, the water will recede and the music will flow. Steve Reynolds will be teaching the Hustle, beginner lesson starts at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Don't forget there will be an increase in the price of admission; $6 for members, $9 for affiliates, $12 for non-members and $3 for students.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Our chapter is putting on a dinner dance on Sunday Sept. 29th to celebrate National Ballroom Dance Week. We are planning to have some of our local instructors and dancers showcase their favorite dance. With luck and some sponsors we will have some pro's to put on a show for us. We will need volunteers to help at the event and sponsors to help keep ticket prices low. If you are able to volunteer or willing to help find sponsors
