Looks like summer is upon us at last. With all the activities that summer brings (cookouts, reunions, festival, etc.) remember to stay safe and keep dancing. I want to thank Rick Popp for teaching the Rumba. We had a lot of hip swivels going on!
There are some exciting things happening in our chapter. In appreciation of our members, the board has decided the August dance will be no charge for USA Dance members. Everyone else will pay the regular price. There will not be a lesson, just dancing. We will start at our normal time 7pm.
Now, what you have all been waiting for, the Great Lakes Bay area dance event of the year, The Autumn Serenade Ball. Not only will there be lots of time to dance to good music, watch instructor/student showcase dances, and enjoy good food, we also have Pro's coming! Danik Kutuzov and Maria Shalvarova , North American Show Dance Champions will be preforming for us. Check them out on the web for a sample of their dancing at:

For this event to be a success we need your help. We need you to attend, get your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to attend. Work with an instructor to do a showcase dance. You can post flyers and volunteer at the event. Our web site now has menu and ticket info available so check it out at www.usadance2043.org . Also, I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Joann Hagen for all the time and persistence at getting the PayPal up and running for the event!
